Obituary of June Helen Raggiani
June Helen Raggiani of Saint John, wife of Frank A. Raggiani, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born at Saint John on June 28, 1919, she was a daughter of the late George E. and Mary Heather (Spademan) Addison. June was employed at the T.B. Hospital as a nursing assistant. She lived for many years in Prince Albert, SK, then moved to Canton, MA before returning to Saint John. June was a life member of the Salvation Army, Women’s Ministries and Sharon Baptist Church in Sharon, MA. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Canton, MA and Salvation Army in St. Petersburg, FL. In addition to her husband of over 50 years, June is survived by a brother-in-law, Lewis Williams of Saint John; her nieces and nephews, Ronald T. Williams, Lewis J. Williams, Mark Williams, Michael Williams, Joanne Porter, Sharon McKenna, Heather LeBlanc, June Dempsey and Donna Clack. She was predeceased by a sister, Eileen Williams. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424), with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:30 AM from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in Massachusetts at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
