Obituary of Diane Elizabeth Renaud

With great sadness, the death of Diane Renaud, loving wife of Jacques Renaud, occurred on July 7th, 2010 at her residence, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Montreal, she was a daughter of the late William and Grace (Hillrich) Burns. Diane worked for the tax division of Investor’s Group. In addition to her husband Jacques, Diane is survived by her children, Tina Worden (Scott), and Tammy Roy (Mike), of Fairfield, grandchildren Michelle Raithby (Samuel), Mark Raithby, and Ashley Trecartin, as well as her great-granddaughter Sierra. She is also survived by her brothers William Burns Sr. (Catherine) of Saint John, David Burns of Toronto, and sisters Doris Bradley; Fairfield, Carol Rouleau (Guy); Fairfield, Joan Bartley (Nelson); Saint John, and Heather Burns, of Saint John, as well as several nieces and nephews. Diane was pre-deceased by her parents, brothers Ralph and Robert “Butch”, infant daughter Michelle, nephew Ken Jones, and great-niece Lauren McKinley. Arrangements entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424). Visitation will be held at the Bains Corner United Church on Thursday from 7-9, and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am from the church. Interment will take place in Brown’s Cemetery.
