Wilfrid’s sense of humour and love of life will be forever remembered by his family and friends. In addition to his wife, the love of his life of 65 years, Wilfrid is survived by his children, Linda Cobham (Gerald LaFlamme) of Grand Bay, and David Cobham of Saint John; a granddaughter, Emmaly Allison of Saint John; a great grandson, William Allison; several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. The last surviving member of his immediate family, Wilfrid was predeceased by brothers Ronald, Gordon, Frederick, Burton, and Bruce Cobham; and by sisters Helen Cobham, Gladys Rogers, and Eva White. Although there will be no visiting time, relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life, which will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM from Main Street Baptist Church, 211 Main Street, Saint John. A reception will follow immediately in the church’s Raymond Hall. Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the Capital Fund of Main Street Baptist Church or the CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
