Obituary of Frances Clementy Bree
Bree, Frances C. – The death of Frances Clementy (Paris) Bree of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Charles Bree, occurred on December 29, 2009 at Kennebec Manor. Born at Annapolis Royal, NS, on November 21, 1905, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Nellie (Lewis) Paris. Frances was a licensed practical nurse for 21 years and was employed with Centracare as a nurse until her retirement. She sang on the “Family Alter” Radio Program, Board Member and Sunday school teacher of Crescent Valley Gospel Centre and received a Volunteer Award from the United Nations Association of Canada. Frances is survived by one daughter, Lorna (Les) Coates of Wisconsin, US; two grandchildren, Lisa (Buddy) Crowder and Michael (Laurie) Coates both of Homer, Alaska; two great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Casey Coates; several nieces and nephews, two special people David and Marlene Howe. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by one brother, Ewing; four sisters, Dorothy, Gertrude, Vivia and Margaret. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Friday, January 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010 from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB, Romero House, or a charity of the donor’s choice. www.brenansfh.com
