Obituary of Barbara Ann Craig
It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Craig announces her death at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 8, 1951 at Saint John to the late Lawson Tippett and Beatrice (Nelson) Trenholm. Barbara worked at the Kennebecasis Valley Co-Op. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Ralph Jr.; two sons: Shawn (Lori Cameron) of Rothesay, R. Daniel “Danny” (Denise Anderson) of Quispamsis; two daughters: Julie-Anne MacFarlane of Rothesay and Tara Crossman (Carl) of Quispamsis; step-father, Keith Trenholm; three sisters: Mamie Freeze (Ernie), Betty Smith (Gordon) and Christina Mahoney (Wilfred); two brothers: Donald (Marie) and Ronald (Wilma) McKelvie; ten grandchildren; niece, Jill Hache; nephew, Wade Freeze and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Barbara was predeceased by a brother Douglas Tippett and sister Elsie “Bobbi” McCarron. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Kennebecasis Valley United Baptist Church, 383 Hampton Road, Quispamsis on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 11 AM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
