Obituary of Lawrence Ralph Fox
Surrounded by his family, Larry Fox, husband of the late Mary Elizabeth (Whynot) Fox passed away peacefully on Monday, October 4, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Larry was born on March 25, 1933 at Liverpool, NS to the late Aubrey and Elva (Peach) Fox. Before his retirement, Larry worked for Rothesay Paper as a Mechanical Superintendent. He enjoyed being a member of the ALBION Lodge #1 (Shriner’s), Liverpool Curling Club and watching baseball. Larry will be sadly missed by his two daughters: Donna Fudge (Steve McCutcheon) and Susan McDonald (Robert); son, Robert Fox; his companion, for over 20 years Kari Christensen; two sisters: Sandra Mosher and Nelly Crouse; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren (grampy will be missed forever). Besides his wife and parents, Larry was predeceased by two brothers: Bill and Henry and a sister, Clara. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A private family graveside service will be held in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. A reception at Brenan’s Reception Centre will follow the interment. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Saint John Regional Hospital Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family. Special Thanks to all the nurses of the Dialysis Unit for their never ending support.
