Obituary of Lillian Rita Ring
Lillian Rita Ring of Saint John, wife of the late H. Murray Ring, passed away peacefully at the Loch Lomond Villa on Monday, December 28, 2009. Born at Saint John on August 1, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Lily (Brideau) McDougall. Lillian was a former member of Branch # 64 of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching wrestling on television, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Marie Hansen (Jack) of Saint John West; a son-in-law, Bob Pade of Saint John; grandchildren John Hansen (Jennifer) of Grand Bay …Westfield, Heather Richard (Leo) of Saint John, Natasha Pade of Saint John, and Jennifer Pade (Bruce Basque) of Saint John; great grandchildren Stephen and Ashley Richard, Shayla and Evyn Hansen, and Austin Pade; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Lillian was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia Pade in 2003; and by several brothers and sisters. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM from St. Rose de Lima Church. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances to any charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
