Obituary of William Hawrish
Hawrish, William … The death of William “Bill” Hawrish of Grand Bay … Westfield, NB, husband of Shirley (Jickels) Hawrish, occurred on Monday, October 5, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Wakaw, Saskatchewan on January 19, 1927, he was a son of the late Onufey and Pearl (Taciuk) Hawrish. Bill was a very active man; he loved music, when younger he played the steel Hawaiian guitar in an orchestra. His other activities included skiing, skating and dancing (he loved to dance); he also enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends across Canada and the USA. As a family we enjoyed his unique and cheeky sense of humour; he loved to tease! Of most importance to Bill was his love for his Creator; he was very active in the Christian Ministry and often supported the Quick Build Construction Projects. He had many loyal and faithful friends. We know our loving Heavenly Father will remember Bill for his good. Nehemiah 13:31. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Rebekah Leanne Hawrish and Deborah Christine (Phillip) Losier, both of Grand Bay … Westfield, NB; three sisters, Doris Mann of Windsor, ON, his twin, Olga (Merton) Campbell of Patterson, NY and Emily Pandachuk of London, ON; several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424. Funeral Service will be held from The Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses, Grand Bay Westfield on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Remembrances may be made to any charity of choice. . www.brenansfh.com
