Obituary of Lawrence Harrison McPhee
McPhee, Lawrence (Larry) (Harrison)- Of Clifton Royal, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, unexpectedly at his residence. Harrison was born in Saint John, on October 23, 1934, a son of the late Stanley and Mary (Harrison) McPhee. Harrison worked thirty-three years with the Canadian Pacific Railway as a Crew Clerk and was a very active member of St. Bridget’s Parish, Chapel Grove. Harrison served his country with the Militia and the Royal Canadian Artillery. Harrison is survived by his sister Leona (Frank) Myers of Brampton, ON; several nieces & nephews; many friends and his special close friend Midge Jennings. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Terrance; and his sister, Rose. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., from St. Bridget’s Church, Chapel Grove. Interment will take place in St. Bridget’s Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances may be made to the Building Fund of St. Bridget’s Church would be appreciated by the family.
