Obituary of Nina Arenda Reinhart
Reinhart, Nina Arenda … Nina Arenda Reinhart of Saint John, NB, wife of the late William George “Pat” Reinhart, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her Lord and her immediate family on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on May 1, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Waldo and Seneath (Perry) Oldfield. Nina had been employed as a clerk at New System Laundry, Jack Calps and Creaghans. She was a member of Douglas Avenue Christian Church for over seventy years including fifty years in the choir. She is survived by two daughters, Lucille “Dewey” Reinhart and Patricia “Patsy” (Arthur) Weare, both of Saint John; three brothers, Burton of Saint John, Victor (Doreen) of Harding’s Point, NB and Raymond of Saint John; two sisters, Evelyn (Bob) Curran and Lorna (Bruce) Wilson, both of Saint John; two grandsons, Michael and Kevin (Stephanie) Weare; great-grandson, Ayden Cole; her feline friend, Buddy; several nieces and nephews. Nina will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Besides her husband she was predeceased by two brothers, Norman and Waldo Oldfield; two sisters, Ella Walker and Audrey Morton. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 11:30 am . Interment will be held in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to Douglas Avenue Christian Church, the Animal Rescue League or any charity of choice. www.brenansfh.com
