Obituary of Evelyn Mae Lynch
Evelyn Mae Lynch of Saint John, wife of the late Arthur L. Lynch, passed away peacefully at Kennebec Manor on Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Born at Clairville, New Brunswick on June 21, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mae (McLean) Robinson. Evelyn liked to watch television, and enjoyed cooking, baking the best apple pie in the country. When she lived at Stephenson Tower, she enjoyed the company of the other residents with the Senior’s Group. Evelyn is survived by her children, Arthur Robinson of Grand Island, New York, Pauline Merritt of Saint John, Chuck Lynch (Jan) of Mississauga, ON, David Lynch (Phyllis) of Dartmouth, Ralph Lynch of Saint John, Terry Lynch (Nora) of Florenceville, and Dana Lynch of Saint John; sisters Irene Taylor Waltham, MA, and Jean Peters of Moncton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and to her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by a son, Dale Lynch in 2006; by a sister, Vera Beers; and by brothers Harry, Irving, and Thomas Robinson. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 12:00 Noon from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances to the Alzheimer Society or to any charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
