Obituary of Doris Mae Tippett
Doris Mae Tippett, wife of the late James L. Tippett, passed away on Thursday, December 02, 2010 at Embassy Hall, Quispamsis. Born at Saint John on November 5, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Edna (Galbraith) Ross. Doris is survived by two daughters, Judy Hare (Wayne) of Saint John and Lynda Munro (Hugh) of Seattle, Washington; a son, James Tippett of Saint John; grandchildren Jamie Hare, David Hare, Krista Carreiro, Janyce Landry, Heather Stafford, and Melissa Tippett; great grandchildren Annabelle, Maxwell, Ethan, Nicholas, and Jake. In addition, to her husband and her parents, Doris was predeceased by a sister, Geraldine Sansom. In keeping with Doris’ wishes, no formal funeral services will be observed at this time. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date, followed by interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to any charity of the donor’s choice. The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
