She is survived by the last of her 16 siblings, Christine Hartford of Saint John; grandson, Robert Fergus of Saint John; great-grandchildren: Robert Fergus and Judy Nickerson; numerous great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Esther was predeceased by her husband; parents; 15 siblings; son, Hugh Robert Fergus and step-son, Andrew Fergus. The family would like to thanks the doctors and staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Kennebec Manor for their kindness and support during Esther’s stay with them.
