Obituary of Dianna Elizabeth Naves
It is with heavy hearts the family of Dianna Elizabeth (Sherwood) Naves announce her passing on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late John and Bernice (Lord) Sherwood. Dianna will be missed by her sons, James Naves (Theresa) and Pat Naves (Tracey), both of Saint John; a daughter, Kelly MacGarvie (Troy) of St. Paul, AB; siblings, John Sherwood (Barb), Mary-Ellen Doyle (the late Danny) and Colleen Dugas (Gordon); nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother David Sherwood. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 7-9 pm and Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, 21 Canon Street, Saint John on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to Bobby's Hospice or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be placed at www.brenansfh.com.
