Obituary of Carol Ann Hagerman
It is with great sorrow, the family of Carol Ann Hagerman, beloved wife of 51 years to Garnet Hagerman, announce her passing on September 25th, 2014 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Saint John on April 1, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Catherine (Stevens) and Edward "Ned" McCarron. Carol Ann was a devoted wife, mother and sister. She had a special ability to bond with almost everyone. She was a beautiful, happy, kind, generous and loving person whose beautiful personality radiated so strongly towards her family and friends. It was her father’s spirit that came through in everything she did. The love and devotion she showed to her husband and three daughters was second to none. Her endless love and care to her special daughter Stacey was so admired by everyone. She created the most happy and safe place for her, taking care of her every want and need. Keeping a permanent smile on both of their faces. In addition to her husband, Garnet, Carol Ann will be missed by her daughters, Kelly Butler (Allan) of Rothesay, Jackie Payne (Mark) of Saint John and Stacey Hagerman of Rothesay; her siblings, Margie Dever (Hugh) of Rothesay, Mike McCarron (Kathy) of Rothesay and Cathy Folkins (Peter) of Saint John; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Carol Ann was predeceased by her parents, as well as two special cousins, Mary Evelyn Mercer and Judy Nobles. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, September 28 from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 360 Dufferin Row, Saint John, on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice, Kennebec Manor, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
