Obituary of Patricia Marie Paulin
The death of Patricia Marie (Chiasson) Paulin, wife of the late Elzear Joseph Paulin, occurred on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Kingsway Care Centre, Quispamsis. Born in Caraquet, NB on March 17, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Ann (Hebert) Chiasson. Patricia was a member of the C.W.L. and St. Pius X Church. She worked at Sears in the catalogue department for 10 years. Patricia loved her family. Her children were her life. Her favorite past-time was playing cards, and was known by her family as "the card shark". She loved summering in Caraquet (where she was born) at the chalet on the water. She will be remembered by all for her loving, kind and gentle nature. She was easy to love. She is survived by her children Gaston (Dona) Wildwood, Georgia; Rene (Gao), Thailand; Timothy (Martha), Rothesay; Paulette (Bob) Campbell, Ontario/Berkeley California; Cathy Paulin, Saint John; Andrea (Larry) Brooks, Hampton; Lorraine Paulin (Maxine Vautour), Rothesay; Tina Blackmore (Michael Brown), Saint John; grandchildren Lise Brooks Rowe, Donny Logan, Jamie Logan, Michael Paulin, Michelle Allan, Claire Blackmore and Dylan Blackmore; sisters, Mathilda Rouillard, Quebec; Delicia Orr, Calgary; Simonne "Jeannie" Riley, Ottawa; Mary Guignard, Quispamsis; 2 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by her son, Jacques Joseph Paulin; sisters, Pauline Thibodeau and Germaine Racicot; brothers, Gerard, Sylvan and Patrick. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday, October, 20 and 21 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church, Somerset St., Saint John on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 10 AM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances in memory of Patricia may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
