Obituary of Vernon Leonard Curtis
The family of Vernon "Guido" Leonard Curtis would like to announce his unexpected passing, which occurred on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at his residence. Born in Saint John on July 11, 1963, he was a son of the late William and Joan (Dorbyson) Curtis. Guido was a kind, strong, proud man with a great sense of humour. He loved to laugh and loved the ladies. He was well liked by everyone he knew and was best described as a man with a strong, independent soul. He was an avid sports fan, especially football, hockey and baseball. Guido is survived by his siblings, Stephen Curtis, Kimberly Prophet, Marjorie Curtis and Dwayne Curtis, many nieces and nephews, a great-nephew, several aunts and an uncle. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew, Matthew Allan David Curtis, and several aunts and uncles. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
