Born on December 3, 1944 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Peacock) Sullivan. Prior to failing health Ron was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time with friends at his camp on Crystal Lake, Charlotte County. He also traveled to play golf at various courses in the region. Ron worked in the printing industry for McMillan Press for 28 years. Later in life he was employed as a security officer at the Saint John Regional Hospital. In recent years he enjoyed indoor gardening, feeding and watching the birds. He also took great pleasure in cooking and preparing meals for himself. Surviving are his sister, Jean (James) Wilson, Quispamsis; nieces, Debra McGrath, Quispamsis and Patricia (Allan) Coleman, Toronto; great nieces and nephews, Joshua and Emma McGrath, Alex Coleman; numerous cousins. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Service will be celebrated from Brenan’s Chapel on Sunday, November 10, 2013, at 2:00PM. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery at a later date.
