Obituary of Patrick Leo Williams
Surrounded by his family, the death of Patrick Leo Williams, husband of the late Janice (MacFarlane) Williams occurred on Saturday, February 01, 2014, at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Home. Pat was born in Saint John on June 5, 1933 to the late Genevieve (O’Brien) and Joseph Williams. A long time resident of Ragged Point, he was a skilled carpenter and general contractor. He loved to hunt and go to the camp with his sons and grandsons. Pat was a member of the Kinsman and Lion’s Club of Saint John and was a faithful member of Main Street Baptist Church. Pat is survived by two sons, Paul (Wendy), Andrew (Lisa Brideau) and daughters Jane Allan (Keith) and Marion (Brian MacInnis) all of Saint John. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, brother Walter (Jean) and sister-in-law Diane (David) Flewelling. Pat was predeceased by his brother Ronald. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, February 3, from 7-9 PM and Tuesday February 4, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Rivercross Church, Saint John on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at 2:00 PM. For those who wish, remembrances made to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
