Obituary of Marjorie Hazel Walton
Marjorie Hazel Walton (nee Clancey), passed away peacefully on April 28, 2015, at Saint Vincent’s Nursing Home in Halifax, NS. Marjorie was born Feb 10, 1917, in Campbellton, Newfoundland, the youngest daughter of Mary Ann Perry and Alfred Clancey. She was predeceased by her husband, Hazen Douglas Walton; son, Wayne Douglas Walton; and three sisters: Elsie (Harold) MacKenzie, Olive (Allison) Galbraith, Belle (Frank) Perkins. She is survived by daughter Elizabeth A. Walton, and four grandchildren. Steven Randal Lundie (Isabel), Mark Garrison (Sanjeev Chada), Kimberly Humes (Antonio Abdo), and Katherine Humes. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). There will be no visitation, and a funeral service will be from Portland United Church, Saint John, NB, Monday, May 4, 2015, at 11:00 AM. Interment at Cedar Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Kidney Foundation, or C.A.R.M.A. (Cat Rescue Maritimes) Saint John Chapter, or the charity of choice. www.brenansfh.com.
