Obituary of Wilfred Alan Snodgrass
Surrounded by his loving family, Wilfred A. Snodgrass of Saint John, husband of Melvina (Savoy) Snodgrass, passed away at home on Friday, January 16, 2015. Born June 1, 1957 in Saint John, he was a son of the late Howard and Sarah (Dunham) Snodgrass. Wilfred was a Pipefitter by trade, and a member of Local 213 Plumbers and Pipefitters. Besides his loving wife, Wilfred is survived by his three sons: Wilfred of Eden, SK, Charles, and Matthew; three grandchildren: Seth, Brooke, and Kaydan; five brothers: Howard (Anne-Marie) of Saint John, John of Toronto, Charles of Saint John, Kenneth of Saint John, and Arthur (Janet) of Oromocto; four sisters: Donna Chipchase (Fred) of Edmonton, Winnifred Ellis (David) of Grand Bay-Westfield, Marlene Morton, and Marion Snodgrass; his aunt, Marion Pridham; his uncle, Robert Appleby; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Ardith Snodgrass. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday, January 19th, 2015 and Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 12 noon from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
