Obituary of Sonny Maurice Yeo
The death of Sonny Yeo of Saint John occurred on Sunday, February 1, 2015, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on January 16, 1950 in McAdam, NB, he was the son of the late Horace and Laura (Campbell) Yeo. Sonny is survived by his son, Gary Yeo (Stephanie) of Saint John; brothers, Gary (Diane) of Saint John, Horace (Marilyn) and Ted, all of Ontario; sisters, Alma (Blaine), Wyomia, Barbara (Daryl), Joanie, Kathy, Alice (Jerry) and Bonnie (Peter), all of Ontario and Sharon (Billy) of Prince Edward Island; granddaughters, Emma and Ella; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Sonny was also predeceased by brothers, Ivan and Randy and sister, Shirley. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery, at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to A Living Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
