Obituary of Grace Agnes Bullerwell
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Grace Agnes Bullerwell, loving wife of the late Russell Harvey Bullerwell, announce her passing on Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a short stay. Born on September 5th, 1941, in West Green Harbour, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Lewis James Firth and Ada Viola (Williams) Firth. Grace worked at Roseway Hospital as a patient’s aid worker. When she moved to Saint John she worked at Barbour's spice factory, Red Rose Tea factory, and in her later years at Kmart. Grace loved her yard and gardened often in her spare time. She also loved to bake and crochet. Grace is survived by her children: Heather (Brian) Chiasson and Brian (Gloria) Bullerwell; grandchildren: Sarah, Rachel, Adam, Jacob, Paige, Megan; as well as several sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her parents, and husband Russell, Grace was predeceased by her sisters: Frances Hemeon and Myrtle Firth. Grace loved her family more than anything in the world. "We love you Nanny" Arrangements are under the direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (506-634-7424), visitation will be held Thursday, August 13 from 2-4 and 6-9. The Funeral Service will be held at Sweeny’s Funeral Home in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on Saturday August 15, 2015 at 2pm with interment to follow at Arcadia Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation, IWK Health Centre Foundation, SPCA-Animal Rescue or to a charity of your choice.
