Obituary of Martha Regina Cormier
The death of Martie Cormier of Saint John, wife of William Hachey occurred on Sunday, February 23, 2014, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Fredericton on July 15, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Helen (George) Donovan. Martie was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #2 Carleton. In addition to her spouse, Martie is also survived by her sister, Frances Driscoll of Saint John; sister-in-law, Kay Donovan of Renforth; nieces and nephews: Mike Donovan of Quispamsis, Pat Donovan of Ontario and Gary, Peter and Glen Driscoll of Saint John; special nieces, Susan Donovan of Edmonton, AB and Tomalyn Comeau of Saint John grandniece, Kelsi; grandnephews: Jesse, Travis, Scott, Nick and Blair and special angels, Kate, Jeff and Nicole Driscoll. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Donald; nephews, Thomas and David Donovan; as well as brother-in-law, Gerald Driscoll. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
