Obituary of Henry J. Crockett
It is with much sadness that the family of Henry Joseph Crockett announce his passing which occurred on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing. Born in Saint John on October 10, 1930, he was a son of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Press) Crockett. Henry spent his working career on the water with the Navy, later joining the Coast Guard and retiring as a Harbour Pilot. Henry will be greatly missed by his surviving family, his children; Lisa (Scott Reid) Crockett of Saint John, and James (Treena) Crockett of Strathroy, ON, his grandson; Liam Crockett, mother of his children; Judy Stiver, brother; Bruce Crockett, close cousin Beth Dexter along with several other cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Henry was predeceased by his sister Catherine Arsenault and brother James Crockett. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424 with visitation to be held on Wednesday, May 6 from 2-4 and 6-8. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 7 at 12:00 pm held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing and online condolences may be placed at www.brenansfh.com.
