Obituary of Barbara Ann Parlee
Barb Parlee, loving partner of many years to Donnie Tobin, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at her residence in Kennebec Manor Nursing Home. Born August 8, 1948 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late George and Floritta (Casey) Parlee. Besides the love of her life, Donnie, Barb is survived by her daughters, Nancy Lynn Hovey and Anne Marie Sutherland; grandchildren: Adam, Sonny, Jesse, Anna, Gordon, Jesse, and Matthew; several great-grandchildren; sisters: Colleen Belliveau (William), Gail Cullins (Joe), and Judy Fairweather (Larry); brothers: David (Winnifred), Ted (Helen), Tony, George Jr., Gerry (Cindy), and Norman (Sharon); sister-in-law, Diane Parlee; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and brothers, Robert "Bobby" Parlee in 2010 and William "Billy" Parlee in 2013. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, October 15 and Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10 am in Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 9 am. Remembrances to Kennebec Manor or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.brenansfh.com.
