Born on March 24, 1933 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Ralph and Eileen (Williams) Miller. Prior to his retirement, Ralph was employed with McLennan Sales. He was skilled at carpentry and woodworking. Ralph was passionate about model boat building and also enjoyed playing the harmonica. In addition to his wife, Isabella, Ralph is also survived by daughters, Pamela Mitchell (Charles) of Fredericton, Paula Miller of Halifax and Karen Harlow (Larry) of Saint John; sister, Eileen Hovey of Saint John; grandchildren, Christopher, Catherine, Caitlyn, Jason, Sarah and Lisa; as well as four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his infant daughter, Kimberley; sister, Natalie Stults and son-in-law, Michael Mitchell. Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, which will be held at St. Paul’s Church, 4 Church Avenue, Rothesay on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at 1:00 PM. A private interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
