Obituary of Joseph Augustine Hogan
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Justin Hogan, loving husband to Stella (Wiley) Hogan, announce his passing which occurred on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at his residence. Justin was an avid dart player, collecting many trophies in his years playing for the Legion team and at the Buffalo Club. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and hunting. Justin spent a lot of time at the Pick & Jams at Bayside Community Centre enjoying country music by local talents in St. Stephen. He enjoyed good food, but most of all took great pleasure in being surrounded by his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Justin is survived by his wife Stella, his children: Justin Duguay, Stephen (Rhonda Taylor) Duguay, Simon (Teri) Hogan, Maria Mallet, Nelson (Karla Yurco) Hogan and Nicole (Nick Irvine) Hogan, his step children: Rose Short, Joseph (Mary) Duguay, Thomas (Hannah) Duguay, Mary Ellen (John) Atkinson and Billy (Dawn) McGlinchey, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several members of his extended family. Besides his parents, Joseph Hogan and Victoria, Justin was predeceased by his past wife Mary Delima Hogan, his brothers: Alex Hogan, Alfie Thibideau and Basal Thibideau. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will be held on Sunday, December 13 from 7-9 and Monday, December 14 from 2-4 and 7-9. A Funeral Service will be held at Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, December 15 at 12pm with interment to take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
