Obituary of Margaret Elaine Herrington
Pre-deceased by her husband Norman, and parents Percy and Pearl Kinsman. Survived by her sister Betty (Bill) Anderson; brother Doug (Barb) Kinsman; sons Chris (Janet) and Grant (Susan); daughter Diana (Don); grandchildren Pat, Kady, Max, Lindy, Taylor, Andrew and Alex; and dogs Jenny and Rory. Peggy was generous, warm-hearted, and liberal in surprising ways. She adored animals and loved feeding birds, squirrels, and deer in her backyard. She especially enjoyed sitting on the verandah swing, throwing peanuts to the squirrels and blue jays. Strong and feisty, Peggy lived a long and full life. Thank you to all her friends, in particular Donna Short and Theresa Dobson, and the wonderful women from Extramural and Bayshore Home Health, especially June, Lorraine, Dawn, and Peggy. We are grateful for their kindness, patience, and outstanding support. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, 634-7424. In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue League. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.brenansfh.com.
