Obituary of Gordon Stanley Marr

Gordon Stanley Marr passed away on January 13, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on March 15, 1946, in Montreal he was a son of the late Gordon and Ada (Calhoun) Marr. Gordon was the proprietor of Canadian Tire, West Saint John until 2000 and in 2002 was the proprietor of Swiss Chalet, East Saint John. Surviving are his wife, Lynne; daughters Tiffany (Marshall) Field; Kimberley Marr (Neil Laking); Tamara Marr (Jody Flecknell); grandchildren, Hazen and Amelia Laking; brother, Peter (Elaine) Marr. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 10am-12 pm. A funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel also on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
