Obituary of Patricia F. Dumas
It is with heavy hearts the family of Patricia "Pat" Dumas announce her passing, which occurred on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Kennebec Manor with her loving family by her side. Born in Fredericton on September 26, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Randolph and Louie (Lawrence) Patterson. Pat was a Jehovah Witness for many years and loved vacationing with her children and grandchildren in Chicago and PEI. Pat will be missed by her children, Moody (Patti Chipman) and André Dumas (Nicole Fulton), Mavis White (Carl), Roxanne Amer (Mohamed) and Tasha Dumas; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Joe Patterson (Shirley); a sister, Betty Washington; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by her brothers, Wayne and George Patterson; and her sisters, Sandra Hector, Audrey Morehouse, Beverly Ford and Eleanor Patterson. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, March 17 from 6-9 pm. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 18 at 2:00 pm from Carlton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 67 Magazine Street. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
