Obituary of Donna Marie Hopkins
HOPKINS, Donna Marie (Keating) "Boo Boo" It is with the most profound grief imaginable that the family of Donna Marie Hopkins announces her passing at home on July 13, 2014. Donna was born in Saint John, on June 1 1964. She is survived by her husband Tim, beloved aunt Donna Jones, uncle Gordon Smith, aunt Nancy Smith, uncle Fred Smith, aunt Pam Smith, aunt June Miller, aunt Jane Ross, uncle Ronnie Miller her mother Patsy, sisters April, Tammy; brother, Dale; cousin Sheri (Scott) Mercer; cousins, nieces, nephews and most precious babies, Charmin, Teddi, Angie, Ricky, Gabby, Dolly, Hallie, Kate, Allie, Kumar, Ellie, Bammie, Poopies, Scoot and Muckle Donna was passionate to the extreme about everything she did. She worked at Provincial Insurance, Clark Dummie, Lawson Creamer, Gorman Nason. For those that knew her, her passion had a unique way of manifesting itself. She was a prolific tournament bass angler having won several tournaments with net boy, Tim. She used every available inch of ground for her flowers gardens. Like everything else, Donna’s passion showed in the love that she held for those who were close to her. She was an encourager and a fierce defender of those she loved, sometimes to the extreme. The bond she had with her animals was beyond belief. Donna was predeceased by her grandparents, Stanley Smith and Irene Smith, her father, Harold, brother Scott, and her babies, Prissy, Bart, Bobbi, Tiffy, George, Emma and Sally. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Funeral service will be held Friday, July 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm, from St. James Church, Long Reach. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery. Remembrances to S.P.CA, Animal Rescue League would be appreciated by the family.
