Obituary of Betty L. Brown
The death of Betty L. Brown of Oromocto, wife of the late Gordon Brown occurred at the Oromocto Hospital with her family by her side on Monday, January 12, 2015. Betty was born on July 3, 1934, in Saint John and was the daughter of the late William and Loretta (Pyne) Morrow. She was a member of the Oromocto Baptist Church. Betty was predeceased by her son James Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Brown (Frank MacDonald); her brother, Bobby (Betty) Morrow; special cousin, Elsie Snodgrass; sister and brothers in law; Mary (Paddy) Powers, Joyce (Chuck) Bugg, Patricia Brown, Ronald Brown, Phyllis McGrath, Margaret Conway, Fred (Cathy) Brown, Harold (Elaine) Brown, Michael (Sandra) Brown, Linda Brown, Cathy (Don) Coes, Geraldine (Don) O’Hara; grandchildren, Jennifer Sambles and Brandon Sambles; several nieces and nephews. Interment will take place in Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
