Obituary of Thomas Albert Warden
Thomas Albert Warden, formerly of Dartmouth, N.S., husband of Linda (Crowley), passed away unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 1, 2015. Born in Kentville, N.S. on November 16, 1940, he was the son of the late Bridget and George Warden. Besides his wife, he is survived by sisters: Kay Nichols, Pat (Brian) Sutherland and Jill (Jamie) Kitchen all of Kentville; also, his mother and father-in-law, Joan and Arthur Hawkins of Saint John, N.B; sisters-in-law: Heather Warden and Carolyn (Doug) True; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, John and brother-in-law, Frank Nichols. Tom graduated from Acadia University in Wolfville, N.S., and was an avid sportsman- especially hockey. He spent most of his working career in the Transportation Industry and was employed by Wyndham Worldwide, Saint John, N.B. at the time of his death. His quick wit, kindness, and generosity will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all of his precious canine and feline pets. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424). There will be no visitation. A service will be held at a later date in Kentville, N.S.
