Obituary of Charles Bayfield Margeson
It is with heavy hearts the family of Charles "Chuck" Margeson announce his passing, which occurred on Monday, September 7, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Kentville, NS on March 20, 1942, he was a son of the late Garnett and Irene (Foster) Margeson. Chuck will be missed by his sons, Randy and Michael Margeson; Daughters, Debbie Peterson (Brian), Wanda Margeson (Mark), Melinda Margeson (Lance Rehn); a step daughter, Barbie Bertin; ten grandchildren; many great grandchildren; siblings, Garnett (Lisa), Shirley, Thelma (the late Fred), Judy (Jerry), Betty (the late Jim), Linda (John) and Dale (Raymond); First and second wives, Vi Kolodzey and Rose Hebert; as well as a large circle of extended family and friends whom he has made a lasting impression on during his lifetime. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his infant granddaughter, Kathleen Margeson. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 12:00 PM from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
