Obituary of Shirley Rose Marr

The death of Shirley Rose (Buckingham) Marr, wife of Donald "Stan" Marr, occurred on December 30, 2015, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Port Credit, Ontario on December 18, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Florence (Atkin) Buckingham. Aside from her husband, Shirley is survived by her baby and best friend Buddy Marr; son Bobby Stoltz and his spouse Lynanne; her grandchildren, Sammie, Zachary and Joshua; her step mother, Irene Buckingham; her sisters, Sue MacDonald and her children RJ, Michael, Tess, Holly and George Jr., Jackie Buckingham, Gloria Trenholm and Lorna Buckingham; her brother George Day ; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her step father Joe Cella, and her brother Fred Jr. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). An interment will take place in Belleisle in the spring. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Shirley may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
