Obituary of Albert Douglas Gould
The unexpected death of Albert Gould, husband of Ethyl (Price) Gould and the late June (Langille) Gould occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on February 2, 2014. He was born on October 30, 1931 in Saint John to the late Howard and Gladys Gould. Albert was an owner-operator of Gould Brothers Ltd. from 1959 to 1989. He was a member of the ILA Local 273 for many years. An avid outdoorsman, Albert enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a great love of gardening and was a wonderful family man. Albert is survived by his wife, Ethyl; sons: Joseph (Cathy) and David (Lynn) both of Saint John and Brian (Linda) of Edmonton, AB; daughters: Carol Anne Goldsworthy (Lloyd) of Pearsonsville and Nancy Wood (Philip) and Mary Murray (George) both of Saint John; step-son, Alroy Price (Lorine) of Innisfil, ON; sister, Kathleen Keating of Toronto, ON; one brother in law, Lester Langille (Laura) of Innisfil, ON; eleven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
