Obituary of Melissa Nairn
The death of Melissa Nairn of Halifax and formerly of Saint John occurred on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at her home. Born in Saint John on November 29, 1971, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Doreen (Blizzard) Nairn. Melissa is survived by her companion, Troy Graham of Halifax; daughter, Alyssa Marie Saunders of Fredericton; siblings, Phyllis Blizzard (Brian), Wayne Blizzard, Terry Blizzard, Robin Blizzard; Yolanda Blizzard (Jim) and Ryan Blizzard all of Saint John; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Jimmy and Michael; nephew, Michael and great-aunt, Gertie Hanson. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, September 25, 2014, at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to A Living Memorial c/o Brenan’s Funeral Home, would be appreciated by the family.
