Obituary of Sharon Ann LeBlanc
With great sadness, the family of Sharon Ann (Pye) LeBlanc, wife of Luke LeBlanc, announce her passing on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born April 8, 1949 in Sydney Mines, NS, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Eileen (Quinn) Pye. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be missed by her cherished grandchildren and her cats. Although she moved to Saint John, her heart never left Cape Breton, and she always thought of it as home. In addition to her husband, Luke, Sharon is survived by her daughter, Amber VanBeelen (Kevin); grandchildren: Alexander, Sandrina, and Nicholas; step-grandchildren, Justin (Hannah) and Bryanna; sister-in-law, Lois Pye; nieces: Crystal and Eileen; and nephew, Brean. Besides her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her brother, Brean. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), visiting will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 12 noon from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Remembrances to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.brenansfh.com.
