Obituary of Bertha Olivia Neal
The family of Bertha "Bert" Neal, wife of the late Robert Neal, announce her passing, which occurred on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Loch Lomond Village. Born in Long Point, NB on October 13, 1920 she was a daughter of the late Lee and Susie (Cosman) Urquhart. Bertha will be missed by her son, David Neal (Judy); grandchildren, Jocelyn, Rachel and Matthew Neal; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Ross and Dot Burnett; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and her husband, Robert in April, 2013, Bertha was predeceased by two sisters, Jean Frazee and Reta Brown. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, September 7, 2015 from 3-5 and 6-8 PM. A celebration of Bertha’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM from Forest Hills Baptist Church, 36 Mountain Road, Saint John. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation, Salvation Army, or any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
