Obituary of Andreas Zmboukis
Zmboukis, Andreas (Addie) - Andreas passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on November 29, 2014. Born in Molikrion, Nafpaktos, Greece, he was the son to the late Georgios and Erini (Efthemeopoulos) Zmboukis. Andreas owned and operated "Addie The Tailor" in West Saint John, for over thirty years. Andreas served for several years as the president of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Executive Council and currently held the position of vice-president. Andreas is survived by his wife Jean (Buckley) and son Yorgo, two sisters Katerina Angelopolous of Patra, Greece, and Maria (Bobby) Sinis of Nafpaktos, Greece, one Aunt Herricla (Stravros) Efthemeopoulos. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Dorothy Hickey, Ann Marie Murray and Mary Chamberlain. Brother-in-law Patrick (Helen) Buckley and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 2-4 and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at St. Joachim’s Church, 603 Loch Lomond Road, Saint John, NB. at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances to the New Brunswick Extra-Mural Program or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
