Obituary of Robert William Robson
Robson, Robert "Bob" William – The death of Robert W. Robson, husband of Margaret (Bradshaw) Robson, occurred on November 7, 2014 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Sunderland, England, on March 17, 1938 he was the son of the late Charles and Martha (McCready) Robson. He spent 21 years working as manager for Saint John Ship Building and retired in February1997. He served in the British Army as an officer of the REME Corps. He is survived by his wife Margaret Robson of 55 years; daughters Debra Gagnon (Maurice), Oromocto, NB and Elaine Robson, Saint John, NB; his son Barry (Kelly) Robson of Grand Bay, NB; sisters Sheila, Patricia and Jeannette of England; grandchildren Jeffrey, Meghan, Christian, Kurtis, Liam and Kayleigh; great grandchildren Ashlyn, Alexis, Olyvia, Madison, Jacob, Mavrick and Xander. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at 12:00 PM. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Bobby’s Hospice or the Extramural Program of Saint John.
