Obituary of Russell Gabriel Bridges

The death of Russel Bridges of Saint John occurred on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on May 10, 1953 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Edward and Loretta Bridges.

Russel will be lovingly remembered by his son, Russel (Rebecca); daughters, Brittany, Jenna, Natalie and Tina; girlfriend, Debbie “Myrtle” Hayward and her son, CJ; sisters, Peggy (Mike), Juanita and her daughter, Erica, Pearl (Alli), Aldonna (Lee) and Daisy (Dave); brothers, Adam (Sherry), Walter and Jody (Amanda); grandchildren, Dara (Mike), Nicholas, Ashden, Zachary and Jared; best friend, Larry Leslie; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Irene (Dryden) Bridges and son, Troy.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  The funeral liturgy will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 10:00 AM.  Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
