Obituary of Malcolm Alvin Dorbyson
Dorbyson, Malcolm … The death of Malcolm Dorbyson of Saint John, NB, husband of Penny Dorbyson, occurred on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John a son of the late Allan and Helen (Clark) Dorbyson. Malcolm was a long time employee of Loch Lomond Villa, had been employed for many years at Dr. Robert’s Hospital School and Maritime Sod. Survived by his daughters: Andrea (Matthew) Willigar of Saint John and Melissa (Sylvain) Paradis of Baxter’s Corner, NB; step-children: Rob McNaughton, Candace Hayes and Stanley Stuckless; sisters: Anne (the late Bob) Knee, Alice (Alfred) Roy, Louise (Bill) Ferris, Marjorie (John) Hudson and brother, Ralph Dorbyson, all of Saint John; proud of his five grandchildren: Sarah and Ken Willigar, Stephanie, Brenden and Nickolas Paradis; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters: Ethel Martin, Ada Barryman and Joan Curtis; brothers: Lewis and Norman “Hobbie” Dorbyson. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 11 am. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
