Obituary of Pierrette Angelina Jones
Jones, Pierrette Angelina … The death of Pierrette “Angela” Angelina Jones of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Wendell Jones, occurred on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at her residence. Born in Edmundston, NB on February 20, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Wilfrid and Marianne (Couturier) St. Onge. Angela enjoyed reading, praying and meditating. With over thirty years in AA, she helped many junior members with their sobriety and was a very caring and giving person. Survived by her two sons, Michael (Dianne) Jones of Quispamsis, NB and Peter Jones of Saint John; her daughter, Wanda (William) Harrison of Saint John; three brothers: Louis (Dorianne) St. Onge of Saint John, Robert (Norma) St. Onge of Grand Bay … Westfield, NB and Donald (Betty) St. Onge of Rothesay, NB; three sisters: Lillian (Donald) Lamontagne of Saint John, Lorraine Ringuette of Edmundston and Gaetane (Melvin) McLeod of Dartmouth, NS; her companion, George MacGillivray; five grandchildren: Raymond, Daniel and Patricia Jones, Ann Marie and Melissa Harrison; one great-grandson, Adrian Capson, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Wendell; two brothers: Edward and Gerald; four sisters: Isabel, Rita, Anita and Claudette. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 11 am. Interment will be in Cedarhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Children’s Wish Foundation or any charity of choice. www.brenansfh.com
