Obituary of Margaret Mary Peters
Margaret Mary (née Boudreau) Peters of Saint John, wife of the late Kenneth G. Peters, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Six Roads, Gloucester County, NB, she was a daughter of the late Pierrot and Vénérande (Robichaud) Boudreau. Margaret was a member of St. Pius X Parish. She was a member of the Canadian Lebanon Association and the Ladies’ Maronite Society. Margaret is survived by her children, Wallace G. Peters (Jacqueline) of Brampton, Ontario, Dianne Dowd (Bruce) of Saint John, and Brenda McDermott (Carl) of Saint John; her dearest companion, Eddy Mazerolle of Saint John; brothers Victor Boudreau (Edna) of Tecumseh, Ontario, and Léon Boudreau (Lillian) of Colchester, Ontario; grandchildren Stefanie Lahn, Kenneth Peters, Melanie Dowd-Martell, Anthony Dowd, and Vanessa McDermott; great grandchildren Hayley, Christopher, and Matthew, and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by sisters Alice Bélanger, and Jeanne Grenier; and by brothers Georges, Anthony, Jacques, and Léon. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 7-9 PM and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 1:00 PM from St. Pius X Church, 316 Somerset Street Saint John. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances can be made to a charity of your choice.
