Obituary of Frederick Douglas Gray
Gray, Frederick Douglas – The death of Frederick D. Gray, husband of Mamie Marie (Cyr) Gray of Saint John, NB occurred at his residence on Tuesday, March 11, 2008. Born in Saint John, he was a son of the late Andrew and Mary Alice (Martin) Gray. Frederick was employed with the C.N.R., the Courts of Commissionaires and Ocean Steel for over twenty years until his retirement. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons; George (Verna), James, Stephen (Deborah), Brian and David (Twyla) all of Saint John, his daughter, Judith Gray of Saint John, his brother, Louis Gray, his sisters; Delores and Joanie, his grandchildren, Andrew, James, Clayton, Justin, Jared and Shawn, and his great-granddaughter, Grace. Frederick was predeceased by his brothers, George, James, Andrew, Walter, Vincent, Ronald, Gordon and Alfred, his sisters; Shirley and Agnus, his children; Wendy, John, Brenda and Robert. The family wishes to send a Thanks to Dr. Wilson, Dr. Sohi, Dr. Goguen, Dr. Pippy and Dr. McKenna and a special thanks to the girls at Hemo-Dialysis and especially to Extra-Mural nurse, Helen Henry Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 1:00 pm. Interment to take place in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Children’s Wish Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
