Obituary of Deborah Susan Wilson
The unexpected death of Deborah “Debbie” Wilson of Hampton, NB, wife of “Wally” Wilson, occurred on August 4, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on August 31, 1953 in Saint John, she was a dedicated daughter of Constance (Brennan) Jeddry and the late Thomas Dean. Debby was a determined and giving member of her community. Always willing to lead a cause to benefit a friend or sometimes even a stranger. She was known for her big heart. Debbie had a passion for yardsales, camping, Christmas, and her children and grandchildren. Survived by her husband, Wally; two sons, Wally Jr. (Jessica) Wilson of Ontario and Timothy (Stephanie) Wilson of Quispamsis, NB; one daughter, Tanya (Wayne) Doucette of Saint John; eight brothers: Douglas (Sharon) Dean of St. Martins, NB, Donnie Dean of Hampton, NB, Daniel (Bessie) Dean, Allie (Joyce) Dean, and David (Sue) Dean, all three of Saint John, Tom (Pam) Dean of Norton, NB, Billy Dean and Stephen (Rita) Dean, both of Saint John; one sister, Thelma Dean of PEI; seven grandchildren: DJ (Christina), Devin, Ashleigh, Nicholas, Dominic, Kole and Matthew; one great-granddaughter, Brianna; her loving pets: her dog Bimbo and her cat, Sneakey; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father, Thomas Dean; her step-father, Edward Jeddry; and her sister, Linda. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 11:30 am. A private family interment will be held at a later date in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or any charity of choice.
