Obituary of Edward David Campbell
Campbell, Edward “Ted” David – The death of Edward David Campbell of Gault Road, Saint John, NB, husband of the late Donna Marie Campbell, occurred peacefully on Monday, October 22, 2007, following a lengthy illness, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Souris, PEI, he was a son of Barbara Ann (Jennings) Campbell and the late George Edward Campbell. He was employed with the City of Saint as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Union Local # 18 Outside Workers for 20 years. Ted was a member of St. Mark’s United Church, and the Men’s Club; he enjoyed attending the Drag Races and car related hobbies. Ted’s most recent prized possession was his “PT Cruiser”, which he loved dearly. Survived by two daughters, Cheryl Lynn (Sam) Hodgin of Bloomfield, NB and Jacqueline Ann Campbell of Saint John; one brother, William “Bill” G. (Jane) Campbell of Moncton, NB; three sisters: Margaret “Peggy” (Fred) Arsenault of Halifax, NS, Cora Ann (David) Taylor of Fredericton, NB and Donna Maude (Peter) Stauffer of Scarborough, ON; step-granddaughter, Tiffany Hodgin; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Donna (Jan.2003) and a brother, Allan Campbell. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from St. Mark’s United Church, Saint John West on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 1pm. Remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
