Obituary of Marjorie Evelyn Hill
The death of Marjorie Evelyn Hill, wife of Kenneth Hill of Quispamsis, NB, occurred on February 27, 2007 at her residence. Born in Saint John, NB, April 24, 1936 a daughter of the late Stewart and Madeline (Boyle) Evans, she had been a Laboratory Technician for the Provincial Government. Survived by her husband, Ken; her children, David James Hill and Vicki Joy Hill, both of Quispamsis; two brothers, Albert (Maureen) Evans of Baxters Corner, NB and Terry ( Debbie) Evans of Saint John; four sisters: Patricia (Ray) Brilla of Niagara Falls, ON, Ellen (Albenie) Benson, Donna Joyce and Pamela (George) Lucas, all of Saint John; a brother-in-law, Lyle Johnston of Sarnia, ON; two sisters-in-law, Donna Evans and Joan Hickie, both of Quispamsis; one aunt, Hazel McInnis of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Douglas Evans and one sister, Hazel Johnston. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. The family will receive guests at the Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Kennebecasis Valley Extra Mural Program, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
